Being a southern city, Crestview does have its share of rodeo and equestrian sports events, but the City of Crestview provides sports facilities and activities for all ages and athletic types. Here in Crestview, there are seven parks that feature specific and general sport areas. Twin Hills Park (located on Hwy 90) provides sports camps and classes for the young and young-at-heart throughout the year. The youth sports classes included baseball, softball, basketball, soccer, football, cheerleading, tennis and gymnastics. Adults can keep or get in shape and have fun playing and competing in the adult softball leagues.

Since the Gulf of Mexico borders the southern half of Okaloosa County and the country is surrounded by rivers and lakes, you can always count on there being a variety of water sports such as skiing, boating, fishing, parasailing, jet skiing and much, much more. Also in Okaloosa County, there are 18 full service golf courses open year round.

The diversity of Crestview and its residents can be sampled through its many shopping and dining outlets. National chain stores, antique markets and boutiques fill the area, offering everyday necessities as well as one-of-a-kind bargains and treasures. Dining will satisfy virtually every taste.
